NUPTIALIS : how we work
TALK AND DESIGN: We will talk, or meet if practical, with you to create a vision for your film. You talk us through your dream day we want to hear your ideas and find out what it is you really want to achieve. Everyone is different so once we have established what you want from your film, we go away and come up with some concepts for you.
PRESENT PROPOSALS AND AGREE: When we next talk, we will have proposals for you on how we can shoot and edit your film in the style and the look you are after. If you are happy with this and want to engage our services, we will ask you to sign a contract and agree a time table. This protects both parties, so we all know what is expected from each side. Having said that we are flexible, reasonable people and will do our very best to accomodate any changes that might appear later down the line.
CHECK OUT LOCATIONS: Ideally and wherever possible, we will need to go to each location and work out how we can film it, where the cameras can go, camera angles, if we need to light it etc. If this is not practical then we will ask you for a list of photos, diagrams etc. Again if pratical we would like to attend at least one wedding rehearsal so we can see where everyone is going to be and going to be going! More importantly what is going to be in the way. Many a pillar has ruined a good shot! Again we can work with a plan and positions of all involved.
FILM, ROUGH CUT & EDIT: On the day we'll ensure that we look smart, are professional, discreet and stick to the agreed plan. We'll keep any contact to a minimum. It's your big day and you want to enjoy it and not be pestered by us.
Once the day is over we will put your film together into a rough cut which, we will show you for comments or changes, then produce the film onto DVD.
